Future shuffles staff for relaunch of totalfilm.com
Future Publishing has moved Aubrey Day, senior editor of its film portfolio, to a new post assuming complete responsibility for its flagship title Total Film.In his new role, Day (pictured left) will oversee the redevelopment of its the totalfilm.com website and assume responsibility for the appointment of three new digitally-focused staff.
Day will also oversee the launch of a new compact version of the magazine.
From August, Future will launch a new compact edition of Total Film, to be sold exclusively through WH Smith retail outlets, to capitalise on the summer reading market.
In addition, the publisher has also appointed Stuart Galbraith, formerly brand director for Kerrang!, Mojo and Q, from Bauer Consumer Media as associate publisher for its SFX and DVD & Blu-ray Review titles.
"With Stuart joining the senior management team and Aubrey overseeing Total Film through this exciting period, we are in a great position to further develop our film portfolio across print, events and online," said Simon Maxwell, group publisher of Future's film portfolio.
