Oliver Luft leaves Journalism.co.uk
Journalism.co.uk's news editor Oliver Luft has left the site to become a reporter for MediaGuardian.co.uk.Luft, who has been at the site for two years, will take up his new role on Tuesday next week.
Prior to joining the Brighton-based journalism news site he worked as a reporter for Birmingham news and photo agency Newsteam International.
"I’ve been extremely lucky at Journalism.co.uk. The last two years have proved to be a fascinating time to report on the development of internet journalism," he said.
"Digital journalism has moved from a position somewhat in the wings to one that is much more centre stage. It has been a pleasure to witness and write about that shift, meet the great people who are bringing it about and also play a small part in it. I'm looking forward to more of the same at MediaGuardian.co.uk and also taking on a host of new challenges."
The team at Journalism.co.uk wish Ollie all the best in his new role and future career.
