Social media training course for journalists launched

Blogger and journalist Graham Holliday is launching a new course next month aimed at teaching reporters about the uses and benefits of social media.

Snappily titled Social Media News Tracking for Journalists, the one-day course will run sessions to help journalists follow breaking news online, and aims to teach them to 'listen' across a broad range of social media sites - including blogs, photos, video, audio, Twitter, Facebook and other social networks.

The course is based at the Frontline Club, London and sessions will run throughout the year.
