Phil Hall joins Harlow Journalism Centre as part of multimedia revamp
Harlow Journalism Centre has appointed Phil Hall as ambassador.Hall trained at Harlow and later became editor of News of the World, Hello magazine and director of development for Trinity Mirror.
His appointment comes as part of an overhaul of the college, which has recently introduced journalism degrees as well as diplomas, a press release said.
The centre is investing in more multimedia technology for training and plans to introduce a range of new academic and short courses for journalists.
"For many years Harlow was considered ‘the’ place to study for journalists. This is an extremely exciting time and we are going to reclaim our title as the number one journalism institution in the country," said Hall.
