Multimedia breasts galore

The Sun launched a new online topless pin-up magazine today to coincide with the 34th anniversary of the newspaper's first page three picture.

The monthly 3Zine magazine combines print and digital formats with flickable pages, streamed video content and interactive features. Content will include wallpapers, screensavers and interviews with page three models.

The magazine is part of page3.com, a popular online extension of the Sun's brand.

Users can subscribe to the magazine monthly, quarterly, half yearly or annually from £2.50 per issue.

"Pay-per-view content is important to all online publishers," said David Roddick, sales director of the Sun's parent group News Group Digital.

"Rather than simply placing existing content behind a payment barrier we thought we should give our readers something new and exciting that enhances their relationship with page3. 3Zine does exactly that on a number of levels."
