Once more to the drinks dear friends

This month's shindig will see the bar being propped up at Babushka, on Wednesday, 21 June, from 7.00pm onwards.

For those of you without a thirsty knowledge of every bar in the capital it can be found at 25-27 Farringdon Road, London, EC1M 3HA.

If you are a journalist, a site reader, or writer, why not come along and join the journalism.co.uk staff in making half-baked and ludicrous World Cup wagers.

All that staring at computer screens can make Jack and Jane a dull-old couple. So if you feel you have been cooped-up in the office for too long, why not dust yourself down and come meet all our other readers and help welcome our newest recruit - reporter Ollie - into the fold.

Nothing too formal mind; pressing the flesh, dressing to the nines and a surfeit of business cards are not mandatory.
