Poll: Is Google hijacking search traffic from newspaper websites?

News of the introduction of a new feature to Google that offers users the option of a more specific search on certain newspaper and other web publisher's sites has met with a mixed response.

There have been suggestions that Google is hijacking the search function of some leading newspaper websites - effectively depriving them of page views against which they can sell advertising.

There have also been notes of sang-froid - optimism even - about the move.

But what do you think?
