Polish publisher Agora signs deal with How to video site

Screenshot of VideoJug.com Polish publisher Agora has signed a syndication deal with VideoJug - a website specialising in 'How to' videos.

The deal, which is VideoJug's first international licensing arrangement, will see clips from the site translated into Polish and made available across the publisher's websites including Gazeta.pl.

"We believe the opportunity for professionally made How to content is unexploited in Poland," said Tomasz Józefacki, head of Agora's internet division.

"Working with VideoJug was a natural choice as their library of content is vast and because of the quality, the films will be easy to localize for the Polish market and will be attractive for our advertisers."

Agora will also look to syndicate its video content to other local websites. In addition, the website plans to sign further international syndication deals to open up access to its archive of 40,000 clips.
