Whatcar.com hits more than a million monthly unique users

Whatcar.com has smashed through the million barrier with more than 1.1 million unique users logging on to the site in January - a record for the Haymarket-owned title.

According to the publishers, the site served more than 14 million pages in the first month of 2007, with users spending an average of nearly 10 minutes on each daily visit to the site.

In 2006, more than 8.25 million people logged on to whatcar.com. More than 130 million pages and 1.5 million videos were served throughout the year.

Patrick Fuller, publishing director, said: "It's been a fantastic start to what will be an exciting year."
