PageSuite signs e-editions deal with Associated Newspapers

PageSuite has been selected by Associated Newspapers to produce digital editions of its Metro UK, Metro Ireland, London Lite and 7Days titles.

The online editions are free to download from and view on the titles' websites, a release from PageSuite, which also supplies e-editions to Express Newspapers, said.

"Our electronic editions provide a convenient way of accessing our content. We are focused on delivering a first-class customer experience and PageSuite's market-leading product helps us achieve that," said Stuart Wood, operations director for Metro, in the release.

"Digital editions increase reader involvement via rich media, flash animation and interactive content, providing new opportunities for both consumers and advertisers."

PageSuite recently introduced new features for its digital editions, including new search tools and the ability to share items from e-editions through social sites.

Last week John Menzies confirmed the closure of its digital magazine arm John Menzies Digital, which produced digital editions of more than 140 magazine titles.
