Nationwide Paintball Launches £525 Gift Voucher for Charity Fundraising Auctions
Nationwide Paintball, which operates more than 100 sites across the UK, has launched a £525 gift voucher designed specifically for use at charity fundraising auctions.
The gift voucher entitles the winning bidder to invite up to 35 guests to play at any one of 100 Nationwide Paintball sites throughout the UK.
Roman Rock, managing director of Nationwide Paintball, said, “Paintballing is the ultimate adrenaline rush and provides a great day for team days out, stag/hen parties, birthday parties or just a fun day out with mates. Over the years we have been approached by various charitable organisations enquiring if we would be prepared to donate gift vouchers to help them raise funds.
“We were of course more than happy to do so and it has been the popularity of these gift vouchers – which have been known to sell at a multiple of their face value at auction – that has prompted us to formalise this mechanism and make it more widely available for use throughout the UK’s voluntary sector.”
Charities that have already benefited from the Nationwide Paintball Gift Voucher scheme include: Clubsforyoungpeople; Mencap and The Prince’s Trust, for which Nationwide donated a gift voucher for use at a charity golf day at Royal Birkdale Golf Club.
Writing to Nationwide Paintball to express her gratitude for its donation of a gift voucher to be auctioned at a Senior Boxing Championships Gala, Clare Skinner, event manager at clubsforyoungpeople, wrote, “The evening was a great success with over £7000 being raised on the auction alone. This wouldn’t have been possible without you!”
