Enjoy Journeys More this Summer with Noise Cancelling Headphones
Stockton-on-Tees, UK (31st July 2008) – LINDY Electronics announced today the launch of its Active Noise Cancelling Headphones that let the user enjoy music and movie audio without the disturbance of ambient noise, making them perfect for train and plane journeys this summer. When not in use, the headphones’ neat fold-away design allows them to be easily stored in hand luggage.
The LINDY headphones use inverse phase active technology to deliver a16dB noise reduction, minimising background disturbances. The 40mm driver units built into the earpads with neodymium magnets provide superior sound quality, whilst the headphones’ soft, cushioned earpads make them comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
“If you’ve ever tried to listen to music or watch a movie on a long journey, you’ll know how distracting it can be when the ambient noise around filters through breaking your concentration or bringing you out of your reverie when watching a movie,” says Andrew Ingram, Product Manager of LINDY Electronics. “Active noise cancelling technology works by inversing the sound waves around you, reducing disturbances and helping you to enjoy your audio entertainment even more.”
The LINDY Active Noise Cancelling Headphones come with an in-flight adapter, 1.2m detachable cable and a 6.3mm audio adapter, which all fit neatly into the carry case provided. Requires one AAA battery (supplied).
Technical specification:
Frequency range: 20 – 20,000Hz
Sensitivity: 104dB/mW (power on); 100dB/mW (power off)
Impedance: 70 Ohm +/- 20% (power on); 40 Ohm +/- 20% (power off)
Notes to editors:
LINDY Active Noise Cancelling Headphones, part no 20425 are available now from www.lindy.co.uk, price £29.99 incl VAT.
