Power-Plates and Power Yoga
If you want to super boost your yoga practice then this 4 week course could be just the asana (sorry!).The 20 minute Power-Plate session will prepare and strengthen your muscles so that your body is better able to control the dynamic movements during the 40 minute Yoga session. You’ll find that you can hold positions for longer and achieve the more challenging poses.
Starting on the Tuesday 16th September at the Covent Garden studio, this 4 week course is for those who know their sun salutation series.
The 20 minutes Power Plates strengthening and preparation will be taken by Nahid de Belgeonne (Mistress of the Good Vibes universe) and the dynamic yoga (40 minutes including relaxation) will be taken by Raphan-Laye Kebe. Raphan is a certified Jivamukti and Level 3 Sun Power Yoga teacher, he is registered with the Yoga Alliance UK and US as well as being accredited with the British Wheel of Yoga.
Course 1 is as follows:
Week 1 : emphasis on standing and balancing postures
Week 2 : emphasis on forward bending
Week 3 : emphasis on backward bending
Week 4 : emphasis turning upside down and putting it all together
The four week course is £200 payable in advance and held at 6.30pm for one hour at the Covent Garden branch.
The dates for Course 1 are:
Tuesday 16th September - Tuesday 23rd September - Tuesday 30th September - Tuesday 7th October
You can bring your own yoga mat or we can provide one. We have a shower here but please bring your own towel.
