Structural Waterproof Training From The Property Care Association
Specialist training courses in structural waterproofing are being held by the Property Care Association, the trade body for building preservation. Two three day courses are being held at the association’s Northampton training centre in September and October.
Delegates study the principles of structural waterproofing, surveying, reporting and quoting and the principles and application of cementitious and cavity drain systems.
The course is ideal for anyone preparing for the Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing examination.
The three day courses take place between 9 – 11 September and 14 – 16 October, 2008.

Further information on PCA courses is available on the association’s website at http://www.property-care.org/training-events/training-courses
Notes To Editors
The Property Care Association (PCA) – has been in existence for four years, as part of the British Wood Preserving and Damp-proofing Association (BWPDA) but in 2006 officially became an independent association, along with the Wood Protection Association.
The new Associations have been created to concentrate on their own areas of expertise – namely for the Property Care Association damp proofing, structural waterproofing and structural maintenance.
Although a relatively new trade body, the Property Care Association has inherited the stability and professional strengths of the BWPDA and its 75 year history.
