Flowfast Terrosso, the fast track designer floor finish from Flowcrete, has made the move into Eastern Europe.

The innovative system - ready for use just hours after installation - has been applied at The Fratelli Club in Romania.

A popular haunt of Bucharest’s celebrity and party set, The Fratelli Club’s up-market reputation means the venue needs to offer stunning visual appeal.

Specifiers selected Dali, a grey shade, with stylish white and black flecks, for the project.

Mihai Popescu, architect and owner of the club, said: “Fratelli is constantly buzzing with life. During the day we have crews of technicians installing sound and lighting equipment, and at night we always have parties and important events going on.

“The floor has to withstand a great deal of activity and that is why we chose Flowfast Terrosso. It is exactly what we needed in terms of resistance and look.”

Flowfast Terrosso has been installed on an existing wooden surface and blends in seamlessly with the new Moroccan inspired environment to deliver a stunning finish that can withstand all the demands of a busy nightclub.

Embracing the latest in resin technology, it offers a floor finish that delivers a terrazzo-like look, which can stand up to all the demands associated with floors in commercial and public spaces.

In most cases, Flowfast Terrosso is ready to use just two hours after application, allowing other works to continue with minimal disruption.

The floor also offers good slip-resistance, can withstand thermal shocks and impact, is hardwearing and easy to maintain.

These qualities, coupled with its decorative style – available in a wide-range of colours and styles – make it the ideal choice where an attractive floor needs to be installed quickly.

The Fratelli Club project is one of the first carried out by Flowcrete’s new office in Romania, which recently opened in Bucharest to tap into the growing number of construction projects coming on line in the Eastern European country.

Flowcrete, based in South Cheshire, sees Eastern Europe as a major growth area and as a springboard for growth into Russia.

The company’s Polish office, located in Warsaw, has been upgraded to include a distribution centre to service Eastern Europe as well as the Ukraine. Flowcrete also has a presence in Tallinn and Riga, which serves the Baltic region.
