Students Beware! Grad-vacancy Cuts Lead to Scammer-Increase
Students Beware as Grad-Vacancies Cut
With the news that graduate jobs are being cut in many industries to save costs, UK Essays, a Nottingham-based essay-support company worries that more and more students are going to get scammed on their degrees.
After posting record turnover for the Christmas and New Year period, UK Essays CEO Barclay Littlewood feels that the increasing competition for fewer graduate vacancies will force more students to look for an academic edge – leaving the door open for scam companies.
“The skills you develop earning your degree are invaluable,” says Mr. Littlewood. “The higher your degree, the more highly skilled you are, and the higher salary you can claim in your career – you get on average £4,500 more per year if you get a 2:1 instead of a 2:2 (Source: Monster.com).”
With more and more graduates looking for work who have a 2:1 or higher, students are going to be under increased pressure to get better and better grades:
“Since they’re often not getting the full support they need, they turn to companies like UK Essays to get a strong model-answer as a tool to help develop their skills; but there are so many websites out there offering 'custom essays' who are just interested in taking your money and don’t care about you, the student. You pay for a custom essay written by a top graduate but what you get from them is just copied and pasted off the internet.”
