LINDY Launches Cables for Next Generation HDMI Devices

Stockton-on-Tees (12th March 2009) – LINDY Electronics announced today the availability of its Premium Gold HDMI 1.3b Cat 2 Cables, which provide the highest quality, most reliable HDTV connection available. These high speed cables are specially designed for the next generation of HDMI devices and enables users buying leads for existing HDMI equipment to future proof their purchase, whilst ensuring superb clarity, definition and detail even over longer distances.

Unlike non gold connectors, which tarnish over time and may inhibit electronic conductivity, the cable’s 24K gold connectors ensure long term performance and reliability. In addition, the lead’s patented all metal, low resistance, connector design results in superior 360 degree shielding and extremely high reliability without the need for ferrite cores, making the cable less stressed and more flexible.

Available in lengths from 0.5m to 7.5m, the Premium Gold HDMI Cat 2 Cable’s low attenuation design provides perfect image and sound reproduction, even over longer distances and is capable of handling transfer speeds of up to 20.4Gbps as well as supporting 13.1 channel high definition digital audio. The slimline connector avoids obstructing adjacent HDMI ports and can be locked into position using LINDY’s unique Connector Lock(available separately).

Also available are LINDY’s long distance Premium Gold HDMI cables which are available in lengths of 10m, 15m and 20m.
