All Aboard Rosie - The New Train on the Tracks at Thomas Land

Since the attraction opened almost a year ago, Thomas the Tank Engine and Percy have worked tirelessly, transporting visitors between Knapford Station and Farmer McColl’s farm. However, huge visitor numbers have left the pair puffed out, and with even more families expected to visit this Easter, the Fat Controller has called on Rosie to help.
Under the Fat Controller’s watchful eye, the three engines will now take it in turns to pull Annabel and Clarabel and their passengers between the two stations in Thomas Land throughout the day.
Thomas Land features 12 rides based on the popular Thomas & Friends characters, such as Cranky’s Drop Tower, the Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster and Harold’s Heli-tours. In addition to the rides, Thomas Land has indoor and outdoor play areas, a restaurant and a shop.
From the station on Farmer McColl’s farm, visitors can stroll around the park’s 15-acre zoo, which is home to a huge variety of animals from tigers and leopards, to snakes and spiders, as well as exotic birds, mischievous meerkats and playful penguins. There are also monkeys and primates, tapirs, ostriches and reindeer.
Drayton Manor Theme Park also boasts some of the biggest, wettest and scariest rides around such as The Bounty, Shockwave, Maelstrom, Apocalypse and G-Force.
New for 2009 is a sensational 4D Cinema. The cinema allows the audience to watch a movie in 3D while seated in specially designed chairs, which react to scenes in the film by moving up and down, releasing sprays of water, bursts of air, bubbles and various smells.
