Cyclingnews.com, the biggest cycling website in the world is now looking for a bilingual Editorial Assistant to join its successful team.
You will be responsible for the writing and production of daily news pages, which will involve you sub-editing contributed items from CN staff and freelancers, as well as press releases, souring information from foreign-language outlets and production of general editorial features. You will also be responsible for the production of UCI and national level race results and photos. As well as the production aspects of the role, you also get a chance to write new features, interview and research stories.
About you
To secure this fantastic opportunity you must be passionate about cycling and websites. You will have experience as a Production Editor or Sub Editor and be keen to take on a new challenge where you will be pivotal in continuing Cyclingnews' success. Excellent attention to detail and high standards of spelling, grammar and punctuation are essential alongside excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure to tight daily deadlines. Knowledge of an additional European language (Spanish or Italian) is essential.
