Art director for What's On, the UAE’S biggest-selling entertainment magazine

What’s On, the UAE’s biggest-selling monthly magazine, is seeking a dynamic art director to join the team in our Dubai-based office. Driven, bursting with creative ideas and with a flair for thinking outside the box, you’ll be passionate about magazines and use your superb design skills to create layouts within InDesign to ensure that the pages flow visually.

Joining a small but dedicated and enthusiastic team, you will have plenty of opportunity to be creative on this features based magazine and develop your skills.

Responsible for the design, organisation and production of the magazine, the successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be able to work under pressure to short deadlines.

As such a strong graphic design-based portfolio is required, which will ideally demonstrate your print-based skills including layouts, typographic, work and creative print based projects

Alongside this a superb knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are essential.

Applicants must be educated to degree level and have a minimum three years experience in a similar design role.
