Do you know your Four Bar from your faux bar? Do you want to be the first to test and feedback on new bikes and kit? We are looking for a passionate technical editor to work on Mountain Biking UK, Britain's best-selling bike magazine.
You will write and compile the main Wrecked and Rated testing section of the magazine and be the main point of contact for everything product and tech related. You will forward plan features and co-ordinate a team of freelancers, ensuring a varied balance of products are tested for our readers. You will build industry contacts to source new kit and products, as well as attending product launches to secure exclusive product news. You will have the chance to test and write about the products, reviewing them accurately and to a high standard.
About you
Passionate about mountain biking, you will be a keen and competent rider and have an extensive knowledge of the industry. You will have excellent writing skills and be confident to write news and reviews of products. Preferably you will have gained experience working within the bike industry, as well as having existing contacts in the industry. In addition you will have brilliant organisation and planning skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure to hit tight deadlines.
