Charlotte Walsh becomes online editor at Travel Trade Gazette
Charlotte
Walsh has been appointed as the online editor for Travel Trade Gazette, having
worked as a news reporter with the company for around two years.Walsh joined the Travel Trade Gazette after joining parent company CMPI on a graduate training scheme in 2005.
"I don't think you have to be a techy to be an online editor," she told Journalism.co.uk.
"It's about having creative ideas that work online, and knowing how to implement them. Also, you've got to love your statistics and make sure that every single thing you do helps increase the number of people looking at the site."
