Alan Clements joins stv as director of content
He will be responsible for all of stv's network and regional television programme output.
"Content is key to stv’s success in the future and Alan’s role will have a major impact on our content output," said Rob Woodward, chief executive of stv, in a press release.
"The provision of content that audiences want is a topical agenda with renewed interest by the Scottish Broadcasting Commission and Ofcom and we look forward to Alan becoming a key part of these debates.”
