Jane Cunningham joins beautyandthedirt.co.uk as beauty editor
She has freelanced as a beauty writer for several years contributing to titles including the Daily Mail, Daily Express, The Independent, Metro and The Times, and will continue to write for other publications.
"My advice for anyone wanting to become a beauty editor is to put the groundwork in," Cunningham told Journalism.co.uk.
"Beauty writing can be serious, light-hearted, critical or even political - so cover all bases by finding the depths. Never underestimate the interest in a cream that really does knock years off your looks."
