IPC announces appointment of Tim Pearson as head of marketing for NME and Uncut
Tim Pearson has been appointed head of marketing for IPC music brands NME and Uncut.To take up the new role he left his post as group account director with KLP Entertainment, where he was responsible for developing music strategy for global brands such as Orange Group and Orange UK and played an integral part in the recent deal between Groove Armada and Bacardi.
Pearson has also worked as account director at Cake Group which saw him oversee Carling Live's sponsorship of Reading & Leeds festivals and other live events.
At IPC, Pearson will be responsible for developing marketing campaigns for the Ignite music brands.
"The music industry is currently going through one of its most exciting evolutionary periods with NME and Uncut at the forefront," he told Journalism.co.uk.
"It is an honour to be given the opportunity to join the team at such a time."
