Harper's Bazaar UK appoints Sarah Bailey as deputy editor

Harper's Bazaar has appointed Sarah Bailey, the former editor of Elle UK, as deputy editor.

Bailey is currently a contributing editor of Harper's Bazaar US, a position she has held since June 2007, prior to this she was deputy editor in chief of the magazine.

She has also previously worked - for two years - as Editor of Elle UK and was launch editor of ELLEgirl UK and editor of Just Seventeen.

"I am delighted to announce that Sarah will be joining the Harper’s Bazaar UK team," said Lucy Yeomans, Harper’s Bazaar UK Editor.

"She is a remarkable talent, with a fantastic knowledge and flair for both fashion and features, and will bring a tremendous amount to the magazine.

"I am thrilled to have found a deputy editor of her calibre and with such great international experience and know she will play a vital part in Bazaar’s continuing success."
