Telegraph correspondent Malcolm Moore moves to Shanghai

The Daily Telegraph has appointed Malcolm Moore as its new Shanghai correspondent.

Moore, previously Rome correspondent for the paper, will also contribute to the Sunday Telegraph.

Prior to joining the foreign desk he was a business reporter and then economics correspondent for the title.

His new role will be a significant challenge in 'a country which is sensitive about foreign media', Moore told Journalism.co.uk.
