Lindsey White joins the FT as editorial assistant for Money Management Magazine

FT Business has appointed Lindsey White as editorial assistant on Money Management Magazine.

Her new role will involve assisting the editor, Janet Walford OBE, handling administrative tasks and eventually writing news stories for the magazine, she told Journalism.co.uk.

Prior to joining the FT White was a press assistant for the London School of Economics while completing her masters in media and communications at the university.

Her advice to those looking to take their first steps into the industry is: "Be completely open to any experiences you can get in any field of journalism. Get out there and make contacts, build your portfolio and see where it leads you."
