Full details: About The Role
Join Official PlayStation Magazine and you will have the chance to work at the cutting edge of new media development and high-definition video production.
As a production assistant you will help with the production of a new digital product due to be launched on PlayStation 3. Within this support role you will be involved in general administration, booking facilities and voiceover artists and organising equipment. You will manage the flow of invoices, maintain project spreadsheets as well as taking on any other ad hoc tasks that arise. The role will vary greatly from week to week and give you will the chance to develop video/audio editing and graphic design skills.
This role is fixed-term for 12 months.
About You
With an interest in digital media you will be looking to take on a role where you will have the chance to develop media skills. You will have some administration experience and good computer skills and be able to use both a Mac and a PC.
Alongside superb organisational skills, you will be able to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet tight weekly deadlines. The ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative is essential. In addition it is preferable that you have experience of using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Elements, After Effects or Photoshop.
