Full details: Inside Housing, the award-winning weekly magazine for social housing professionals, is looking for an ultra-creative designer to join its busy team. The title is part of Ocean Media Group and the position is based in its Canary Wharf office in London.
We need someone who is bursting with ideas and can bring Inside Housing’s pages to life through inspired layouts and confident commissioning of illustration and photography.
The right candidate will be able to take features and other articles from copy to concept to pdf in a tight timeframe, with endless imaginative visual ideas and the ability to apply them to a complex subject matter.
This is an exciting role with huge potential for creativity, which would suit someone with a formal design qualification and at least one year's magazine design experience. Expertise in Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are essential, as is the ability to work calmly under pressure. An extensive contacts book of photographers and illustrators would also be an advantage.
