Other information: If you’re looking for someone with very good writing and speaking capabilities in French and English, at ease when assimilating and reporting complex issues, and with experience when addressing senior officials and journalists, then my application will interest you.

After nine years of dedicated service, I terminated recently my assignment as a political and economic affairs specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Bern. This experience offered the opportunity to cover a wide range of activities such as mapping and monitoring regulatory and legislation developments in many industry sectors, writing-up several political and economic reports (e.g. on market access, intellectual property, free-trade agreements, money laundering) for the US State Department in Washington DC, and organizing tailor-made visits at the cantonal and federal levels for the US Ambassador and Congressional delegations. Prior to the Embassy, I wrote for a British publication based in Geneva (World Trade Agenda) and reported on many international issues taking place at the WTO, EU or UN. I was also accredited as a journalist at the UN in Geneva and was responsible for both the paper and web editions of the newspaper. Curious by nature and eager to innovate, I was able to contribute significantly to the reputation of the company.

Being a friendly and fair person with a good sense of humor even in hectic situations, I’m used handle different tasks at the same time and work under pressure to meet tight deadline. I'm also very much at ease with computers and research onto the internet.
