Getting a book published successfully requires more than just a good idea and some finely-crafted prose. How do you get your idea noticed, navigate contractual waters, meet your deadlines and ensure it sells? Led by a published author, this session aims to equip you with the tools you need to succeed. This course is aimed at anyone thinking of writing a book, but will especially benefit people who can bring a current project with them.

About Martin Cloake
Martin Cloake is the author of seven sports books, and worked for 20 years as a sub-editor, mainly in mass-market women’s magazines.
He is currently working on his eighth book and editing a series of titles due to go to market later this year.
Martin has been interviewed about his work on radio, tv and podcast. He is also a freelance journalist and associate lecturer in production journalism at the London College of Communication.
