This course is aimed at journalists who are looking to go further, faster online but is also ideal for policy analysts, researchers, campaign staff and market analysts.

Level: This course is aimed at anyone who needs to do a lot of online research. You'll should be used to doing research via search engines and be familiar with at least one internet browser.

The course is focused on the practical use of cutting-edge apps and tactics. Leave the course with the skills to, for example:

About Colin Meek

Colin MeekColin is a qualified journalist who has also worked as a policy analyst and researcher. For the last 12 years he has worked as a freelance journalist and research consultant and spent the last 6 years crafting this popular advanced research course.

Colin has worked on dozens of in-depth projects for a range of clients including Which?, BMJ Knowledge, Renewable Energy Assurance Listed, The Times, the Canadian Medical Association Journal, Journalism.co.uk, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, the Pharmaceutical Journal and many others.

He has completed a five-month research project on internet filtering for Intertek research and testing and a four-month research project on RFID technology. His in-depth journalism has ranged from an investigation into malpractice in the laser surgery industry for the Times to ground-breaking research on pre-hospital care and transfats in food.
