Hello, my name is Anne Waddingham, a UK-based freelance editor trading as WordMedic ('Making Words Better').

I specialise in on-screen editing, project management, editorial consultancy and editorial training.

I have a City & Guilds Licentiateship in editorial skills and am an Advanced & Registered member of the UK Society for Editors and Proofreaders.

I have a biology degree and was Editorial Manager for a major scientific publisher before starting my own business in 1991.

I also teach courses on on-screen editing, scientific, technical and medical editing, and project management.
