Hello everyone, i have secured an internship for a non profit organisation intent on promoting peace in the Palestinian community. As a westerner i can help support the organisation by promoting this, one effective way in which i can do this, will be via journalistic means, either creating a blog/video blog or trying to find a story of some kind and pass it on to a press organisation that would be willing to publicise it.
I am new to this and although i do have contacts in the political field and a good friend who will be working in Reporters Without Borders, i am unsure of where to start. So if anyone can give a rookie some hints and advice i would appreciate it.
1) Which blog website would be the best one to use in order to gain publicity for this blog which is centred around International Politics and current affair.
2) How can i practice blog writing or aims and targets i should be setting myself in order to create the "perfect blog".
3) One step further, is it possible that i can pass this on to a press organisation that would be interested ? If so, which one will be preferential and you would advise me contacting ?
