Eichblatt, who studied design, art history and English, got her first big editorial break, in 2003, on Prodesign, New Zealand's leading design industry title, where she was assistant editor.
While in New Zealand she also worked as a freelance design journalist covering food, travel and art.
She continued her freelance career when she returned to the UK, in 2005, working for a range of titles and publishers, including: The Herald Weekend magazine, The List, IPC, BBC, Natmags, Redwood and River.
