Goodman started her career as a graduate trainee at CMP Information, where she worked across titles including Pulse, Cabinet Maker and The Publican.
Her most recent role at the publisher was news reporter for Building magazine.
She will be responsible for ensuring the title meets its print deadlines, as well as overseeing the flow of copy from layout to sub-editing, she told Journalism.co.uk.
