Emma Dunkley joins the publication as a reporter after graduating from the University of Southampton with a degree in English.
The role is Dunkley's first job in journalism, though she has undertaken work placements with The Independent, The Observer and Conde Nast.
Her advice to other aspiring young journalists is to gain work experience at national papers and magazines: "It helps you gain useful contacts and may lead to a job. It also looks great on your CV."
