Hill joined IPC Media in 2004 working in marketing on IPC Southbank's Marie Claire, In Style and woman&home before taking on a publishing role in January 2008.
Hill's new appointment is followed by a move for James Thrower, who has been named associate publisher of IPC's Mousebreaker casual gaming portfolio.
Thrower will remain associate publisher of men's monthly Loaded and Uncut, working with Hill.
He joined IPC Ignite's publishing team having previously been circulation manager of the Ignite division.
