Naga Munchetty, previously a business producer on Channel 4 News at Noon, has joined Bloomberg UK TV as its new reporter.In her new role she will cover breaking news, in particular currencies and commodities.
Ms Munchetty, commenting on her new role said: "The responsibility of ensuring that all breaking news is delivered accurately and in an easily digestible form is always thrilling.
"[The] biggest challenge is becoming familiar with the thousands of ways to use the Bloomberg terminal to show trading patterns and glean information that other services provides don't offer."
Before joining Bloomberg UK TV, she worked for the Reuters Financial TV, CNBC and most recently at Channel 4 News, where she worked for more than two years.
Her advice to those starting out in the industry is to dive into the news and keep up to date with the latest events.
"Don't give up, immerse yourself in news, and try to learn something new everyday."
