Holding, who worked for the Dubai-based title for 14 months, will return to the UK and is available for commissions from March 9.
She specialises in fashion and beauty, but also has experience writing travel features and restaurant reviews, she told Journalism.co.uk.
Commenting on her decision, she said: "The fashion scene in London cannot be beat, so I am returning with the intention of finding freelance or permanent positions."
Prior to her most recent position, Holding was fashion assistant for Grazia UK and worked on other titles including Marie Clarie and Look.
