woman&home appoints creative director and deputy editor

IPC glossy, woman&home, has appointed David Dowding as creative director and Gaby Huddart (pictured) as deputy editor.

Mr Dowding is currently art editor of IPC's Livingetc. He previously worked for Cosmopolitan and on the Maxim launch team.

Ms Huddart is editor of Square Meal and has written for publications including: The Times, Harpers & Queen and woman&home.

Sue James, editorial director, said: "I am delighted to have appointed two very talented people who I know will work brilliantly with my strong editorial team to continue to innovate the woman&home brand."

Mr Dowding said: "This is both a challenging and fascinating time in the women's lifestyle sector, and I'm looking forward to working with Sue James and her experienced team in developing all aspects of this incredibly strong brand."

Ms Huddart said: "I am thrilled to be joining the woman&home team at such an exciting time and as the magazine is going from strength to strength. I can't wait to learn from Sue James, someone I admire hugely, and to work with the experienced team."
