Award-winning communications agency AB needs an experienced and dynamic editor to join its busy editorial team based in London SE1.

AB is the UK’s longest established employee communications agency with nearly 50 years’ experience in our field. We win awards every year for our work, producing paper and electronic publications for more than 30 clients.

Our success is due to a hugely talented team of writers, designers, photographers, consultants and production experts.

The right candidate will be a proactive and dynamic editor with a genuine passion for creating effective employee communications.

You will run one of our prestigious accounts, producing a regular magazine, email newsletter and other channels, acting as our client's main point of contact.

You will be a great team player – full of enthusiasm and ideas – and eager to play your part in helping AB continue to grow and develop.  

Immediate start.

Salary based on experience.

You will have:

  • At least four years' experience running a publication.
  • A strong journalistic background with a great portfolio of published work.
  • A proven track record in creating great looking employee communications on paper and screen.
  • An ability to digest complex and technical information and translate this into clear, concise copy.
  • Experience of managing your own clients.
  • Experience of measuring the effectiveness of what you produce.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • An interest in social media and digital communication solutions.
  • A great eye for design and photography.
  • An ability to cope with pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Experience in briefing reporters, freelancers and photographers.
  • Plenty of fresh editorial ideas.
