We currently have a vacancy to work in the editorial department of one of its best-selling brands. Join the busy, committed team on Your Cat, working on our monthly print magazine and online.

Key Responsibilities & duties:

*Researching articles and features, collating information, both for the print magazine, the website and digital projects.

*Organizing photo shoots and interviews.

*Attending interviews, press functions and media briefings.

*Writing features and general copy for the magazine.

*Selecting pictures to illustrate articles.

*Assisting with going to press, magazine production and proof reading.

* Managing Social Media

 Skills and competencies:

*Excellent writing skills.

*Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

*Creativity.

*Stress tolerance.

*Good team player.

*Versatility.

*Good organizational skills.

 Knowledge/entry requirements for the position:

Suitable for a keen reporter/writer, looking to gain more experience within a small team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, extremely versatile and the sort of personality who relishes a challenge. A genuine interest in the subject matter is a must, although you don’t need to be an expert.
