Role Summary & Key Responsibilities

The purpose of the role is to generate editorial content for our Italian-language website and our various international publications. This will involve meeting and interviewing fund managers, strategists and senior figures in the investment world, to generate a flow of daily news stories for, and to periodically write longer articles for our international magazines. The role will be based in London, working alongside other members of the Citywire Global editorial team, but travelling frequently to Italy.

It will also involve working closely with our audience development team to understand and get to know our key readership segments in Italy.

Key Skills:

Expert: Reporting skills, with the ability write clear, accurate copy to deadline in both English and Italian. Good communication skills- you will be dealing with people at all levels
Working Knowledge: Investment, financial markets

Preferred Experience:

Some experience of working in a fast-paced news environment is desirable. An understanding of the principles of investment and some knowledge of, and interest in, how financial markets work would be an advantage.

Relevant Qualifications:
NCTJ preferred

Understanding the implications and importance of Physical Security and Information Security to Citywire and Citywire customers, how these implications impact on each employee at an individual level and how to empower them to take action to address these responsibilities. £25K base, OTE £30K
