Are you a budding journalist looking to kick start your career? Would you like to be a part of a programme that offers you a paid internship at one of the world’s top news organisations? We’re currently looking for journalism interns to work at the Financial Times as part of the Pearson Internship Programme (PIP UK). The placement is a unique opportunity to work for one of the world's top news organisations.

Eligibility

PIP UK is a positive action programme for recent graduates from a BAME background (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) and for graduates with disabilities*. Therefore, the programme is open to recent graduates from a BAME background and recent graduates with a disability, who:
  • Possess a 2:1 degree classification
  • Have the right to work in the UK
*PIP UK is run under the Equality Act 2010 (UK).

About PIP UK

PIP UK is a paid, project based internship programme which provides final year students and recent graduates with work experience and a real insight into the world of learning. The aim of the programme is to address under-representation within the demographic of our UK businesses. PIP UK is run under the Equality Act 2010 (UK). See Eligibility for more information.

We are offering a competitive internship allowance of £1,430 gross per month, in line with the London Living Wage; a generous holiday allowance and a full training and development programme.

The programme runs for 3 months, from Monday 29th September to Friday 19th December 2014.
