Do you feel you have an editor’s “eye” and want to prove it? We are looking for help putting together our online daily news product and other research. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody early in their career to take full responsibility for a title based in London. The job is fixed term contract to cover maternity leave for a minimum period of 6 months but potentially longer. For the right candidate the post may lead to a full time role.
Training will be given but the ideal candidate must be:
- scrupulous about detailed work
- highly skilled in written English and prefereably another language
- self-motivated
- able to work under pressure
- very comfortable working with IT
Ideally the right person will also have some knowledge of the contingent workforce space and/or general employment issues. It would also help if they know their way around a balance sheet.
The working hours for this role will be 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday and may include some bank holidays.
