The main duties of the role are:

maintaining and enhancing the quality of LGC's news coverage online and in print
-
enhancing LGC’s online presence
-
focusing on exclusive news, including investigations and data research

leading, coaching and managing a team of reporters
-
editing and proofing, working with the production editor
-
writing/collating our showpiece ‘agenda’ news features
-
representing the magazine externally where relevant.
