Petrospot Limited is a dynamic, independent publishing, training and events organisation focused on the maritime, energy and transportation industries.

The company is now seeking to recruit skilled and self-motivated reporters to work on its flagship magazines on marine fuels and cargo security. The role would suit recently trained journalists who are looking to build a career in a global and fast-paced industry sector.

Reporting to the Editor, the successful candidates would write news and features for two bi-monthly titles, Bunkerspot and Cargo Security Intelligence, and would also be part of a team delivering the editorial content for the titles’ daily news websites. In addition to breaking news and researching in-depth features, the roles would also require the candidates to represent the company and the titles out in the market.

Applicants for this exciting and varied position should have strong journalistic and subbing skills with at least two years’ experience in trade press, newspapers or magazines. Applications would also be considered from exceptional candidates willing to take up the challenges and opportunities of a trainee reporter role.

As part of a small, friendly and busy team, applicants must be adaptable and willing to contribute to the running of the magazine and websites as required.
