Under the new management structure, Cramer will be responsible for five global editorial groups: television, pictures, Reuters financial video service, online and agency.
Each group will be led by a senior editor, with newly-created roles for online global editor and agency global editor, a release from Reuters said.
Appointments to these roles have not yet been made, the company confirmed.
"These newly created positions and operating structure are critical to the development of new projects that merge our expertise with the latest technology," said Cramer, in the release.
As part of the changes Mike Stepanovich, who will continue in his role as senior vice president and global head of business development, will oversee the financial video services operation.
The existing global editors of Reuters television and pictures divisions, John Clarke and Tom Szlukovenyi, will remain in their positions.
